Carrier may permit passenger to consume alcoholic beverage aboard vehicle

Notwithstanding the provisions of §
35-1-5.6
, a licensed carrier may permit a passenger to bring sealed and unopened alcoholic beverages purchased from a South Dakota retailer aboard the vehicle for consumption by the passenger aboard the vehicle operated by the carrier. Nothing in this section may be construed to permit a licensed carrier to violate any other provision under this title.
