Cooperation in implementation of federal Disaster Relief Act

The Governor may cooperate with or enter into agreements with agencies of the federal government to the extent necessary or appropriate to implement the provisions of the Disaster Relief Act of 1974, as amended by the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act of 1988, and to provide, under rules promulgated pursuant to chapter
1-26
by the Department of Public Safety, such benefits to the residents of the state as may be available to them under that act.
