Recognition of other state or federal licenses--Previously issued federal license

The agency may provide for recognition of other state or federal licenses as the agency may deem desirable. Any person who, on the effective date of an agreement under §
34-21-3
, possesses a radiation license issued by the federal government shall be deemed to possess the same pursuant to a license issued under this chapter, which shall expire either ninety days after receipt from the agency of a notice of expiration or on the date of expiration specified in the federal license, whichever is earlier.
