Issuance of new registry identification card following required notification to department

If a cardholder notifies the department of any item listed in §
34-20G-46
, but remains eligible under this chapter, the department shall issue the cardholder a new registry identification card with a new random ten-digit alphanumeric identification number within ten days of receiving the updated information and a twenty dollar fee. If the person notifying the department is a registered qualifying patient, the department shall also issue the patient's registered designated caregiver, if any, a new registry identification card within ten days of receiving the updated information.
