Review of application--Issuance or refusal to issue license--Reasons for denial--Contest of denial

The department shall, in the case of every application for licensure, review and ascertain whether the facts set forth in the application are true. The department shall issue a license to the applicant when it is satisfied that the facts set forth in the application are true. The department may refuse to issue a license upon any of the grounds stated in §
34-18-27.1
