- ordination of resources by Governor. Whenever the Governor in pursuance to § 33-15-8 shall declare an emergency or disaster to exist within the state, he may authorize and direct the resources of any political subdivision of the state or of any department, commission, or agency of the state to assist another political subdivision with such resources.
