Early renewal--Fee for late renewal

A person may renew a noncommercial vehicle registration anytime less than ninety days prior to the vehicle's registration expiration date. Any person who renews a noncommercial vehicle registration after the date of expiration shall pay the full year's fee required by this chapter to license the vehicle until the appropriate month assigned for renewal by §
32-5-2.2
