Disqualification of commercial driving privileges for human trafficking conviction

If a person is convicted of a felony under chapter
22-49
or a federal felony offense involving a severe form of trafficking in persons, as defined by 22 U.S.C. § 7102(11), as of January 1, 2022, the department shall disqualify that person from driving a commercial motor vehicle for life and the person is not eligible for reinstatement.
