Removal of appointive state officers by Governor without cause

All state officers not liable to impeachment and not subject to removal by the Governor, in accordance with the provisions of §
3-17-1
, and appointed by the Governor with or without the advice and consent of the Senate, shall be subject to removal by the Governor without assigning cause therefor.
