South Dakota Code § 3-12C-806

Elimination or addition of disability benefit pertaining to children--Applications before July 1, 2015

That portion of a disability benefit that is payable on account of children shall be eliminated as each child becomes ineligible. However, the portion of a disability benefit that is payable on account of children shall increase if a disabled member gains an additional child who is eligible. All other provisions in §
3-12C-807
do not apply to members receiving a disability benefit pursuant to this chapter. The provisions of this section apply to any member whose application for disability benefits is received by the system before July 1, 2015.
