Intentional fraud or deceit to receive assistance

Any applicant for assistance who knowingly makes any false statement, with intent to defraud, as to his financial status or other required information, or in any way intentionally deceives any county commissioner, or any welfare worker employed pursuant to §

, in order to receive assistance, shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.
