State's attorneys to represent state and Department of Social Services--Exemption

The state's attorney shall represent the state in all proceedings brought under this chapter and chapter

. The state's attorney shall also represent the Department of Social Services in any proceedings brought under this chapter or chapter
26-8A
unless the Department of Social Services has selected a separate attorney and has so informed the concerned state's attorney and the court.
