Copyrights of material--Contract for use of state's copyright

The South Dakota Code Commission shall provide that the material authorized for publication by §
2-16-6
will be copyrighted by the State of South Dakota, in the name of the State of South Dakota, to the extent permitted by federal copyright law. The commission may contract with printers, publishers, and computer retrieval companies for use of the state's copyright.
