Vote required to approve reorganization plan

Upon the receipt and review of the results of the election on a plan and if the secretary of the Department of Education finds that a majority of votes cast in each district is in favor of the consolidation or division of school districts to create a new school district, or districts, as set forth in the plan, the plan shall be considered to be approved by the voters. If the secretary of the Department of Education finds that fifty percent of the votes cast in a district are in favor of a plan to dissolve the district and annex its territory to another district, or districts, as set forth in the plan, the plan shall be considered approved by the voters.
