Investigations by secretary

The secretary may, upon receipt of information suggesting the failure of an applicant or certificate holder to comply with requirements necessary for certification, initiate and conduct an investigation. The secretary may also initiate and conduct an investigation in regard to a person subject to §
13-43-59
. In conducting the investigation, the secretary shall have the powers referenced in §
1-26-19.1
