The department shall deny an application made under §
10-50E-3
or
10-50E-6
if the applicant:
(1) Provides any false information;
(2) Is under the age of twenty-one years;
(3) Is not current on the remittance of all applicable state and local taxes; or
(4) Has been convicted of, or pled guilty to, a felony related to a financial crime, a crime related to the sale or distribution of a nicotine product or alcohol, or a crime related to a controlled substance, in this or any other jurisdiction, unless at least three years have passed since satisfactory completion of the sentence or probation imposed by the court in each felony conviction.
