(A) The Department of Social Services shall establish a State Disbursement Unit for the collection and disbursement of all child, spousal, or child and spousal support payments. (B) The State Disbursement Unit shall be operated and administered by either (1) the Child Support Enforcement Division of the Department of Social Services, or (2) a contractor directly responsible to the Department of Social Services. (C) Amounts collected through the State Disbursement Unit are subject to court costs pursuant to Section 63-3-370(C).
