(A) There is established the Governor's School for Agriculture at John de la Howe to provide training for students who have a career aptitude in agriculture, agribusiness, natural resources, and biotechnology. It also will serve as a research and resource center for students and conduct adult education programs for teachers, farmers, and persons involved in the industry of agricultural and natural resources. This residential and day school shall provide intensive preprofessional and professional instruction in agriculture that a student may complete to satisfy the requirements for a high school diploma and be prepared for college-level study. (B) The school is named the Governor's School for Agriculture at John de la Howe. Effect of Amendment 2020 Act No. 164, SECTION 9, rewrote the section.
