An athlete agent who violates Section 59-102-140 is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, may be fined not more than ten thousand dollars or imprisoned for not more than three years, or both. Comment Effect of Amendment 2018 Act No. 235, SECTION 1, reenacted the section with no apparent change.
