Notwithstanding another provision of law, the division shall employ an executive director of aeronautics in accordance with the provision contained in Section 13-1-1050 and 13-1-1080 and other employees necessary for the proper transaction of the division's business. Effect of Amendment The 1993 amendment substituted "director" for "Commission", "deputy director of aeronautics" for "director of aeronautics who is or has been a commercial pilot with instrument rating", and "the division's business" for "its business". The 2005 amendment rewrote this section. The 2012 amendment substituted "division" for "Aeronautics Commission"; substituted "an executive" for "a deputy"; and, made other, nonsubstantive, changes.
