No person transported by the owner or operator of an aircraft as his guest without payment for this transportation shall have a cause of action for damages against the aircraft, its owner or operator for injury, death, or loss in case of accident unless the accident was intentional on the part of the owner or operator or caused by his heedlessness or his reckless disregard of the rights of others. Effect of Amendment The 1993 amendment reprinted this section with no apparent change. The 2012 amendment made nonsubstantive changes throughout the section.
