The pilot ground of the bar of Charleston shall extend from the bar thirty miles eastward, southward, and northward. Pilot boats shall normally cruise in an area designated by the South Carolina Commissioners of Pilotage for the Lower Coastal Area. Effect of Amendment The 2006 amendment substituted "South Carolina Commissioners of Pilotage for the Lower Coastal Area" for "Commissioners of Pilotage for the port of Charleston".
