Any person who violates any provision of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment not exceeding one year, or both. Effect of Amendment 2017 Act No. 31, SECTION 6, substituted "is guilty" for ", or any regulation promulgated thereunder, shall be deemed guilty", and made nonsubstantive changes.
