South Carolina Code § 44-43-20

Age restrictions for blood donors; parental permission.

(A) A person may lawfully donate blood if he is:
(1) at least seventeen years of age; or
(2) sixteen years of age and has the written consent of his parent or guardian.
(B) A person under eighteen years of age may not sell blood.
