The department must promulgate regulations necessary to carry out the provisions of Chapters 27 through 41 of this title, employ personnel, make expenditures, require reports not otherwise provided for in these chapters, conduct investigations or take other action as it considers necessary or suitable to administer its duties and exercise its powers pursuant to the title. Effect of Amendment The 2010 amendment rewrote this section to set out the duties and powers of the department.
