In addition to the powers and duties enumerated in Section 40-1-50, the board, at the first board meeting in each calendar year, shall elect from the veterinarian members a chairman, vice chairman, and any other officer it considers necessary. The board shall meet at least twice a year and upon the call of the chairman or any two members of the board. Action of the board may be taken at regular or special meetings, and a majority of the appointed members of the board constitutes a quorum. Editor's Note Prior Laws:1920 (31) 905; Civ. C.
