A person who is credentialed in this State as a licensed appraiser, licensed mass appraiser, certified residential appraiser, certified residential mass appraiser, certified general appraiser, or certified general mass appraiser on December 31, 2014, may continue licensure in that category without meeting the requirements of Section 40-60-31 and Section 40-60-33, so long as the person is otherwise authorized to hold the license. Effect of Amendment 2014 Act No. 180, SECTION 10, substituted "state-certified residential mass appraiser" for "certified mass appraiser"; substituted "state-certified general mass appraiser" for "certified general mass appraiser"; substituted "December 31, 2014" for December 31, 2007"; and made other nonsubstantive changes. 2024 Act No. 196, SECTION 15, substituted "A person who is credentialed in this State" for "A person who is licensed" and "certified" for "state-certified" in four places.
