Nothing in this chapter may be construed to require a health maintenance organization, a self-funded plan, an accident and health insurer, or any other third party payor to provide services or to pay for services provided for in this chapter. If payment or reimbursement for these services is provided by a health maintenance organization, a self-funded plan, an accident and health insurer, or any other third party payor, the provisions of Section 38-71-200 apply. Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact Editor's Note 2022 Act No. 159, SECTION 1, provides as follows: "SECTION 1. This article shall be known and may be cited as the 'Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (Psypact)'."
