South Carolina Code § 40-45-550

Active duty military personnel or their spouses.

A licensee who is active duty military or is the spouse of an individual who is active duty military may designate one of the following as the home state:
(1) home of record;
(2) Permanent Change of Station (PCS); or
(3) state of current residence if it is different than the PCS state or home of record.
