A person or firm who knowingly violates a provision of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, must be fined not more than ten thousand dollars or imprisoned for not more than one year, or both. Effect of Amendment 2022 Act No. 174, SECTION 1, reenacted the section with no apparent change.
