A Metric Education Committee consisting of the Superintendent of the State Department of Education or his representative, the Chairman of the State Board for Technical and Comprehensive Education or his representative, and the Chairman of the State Commission on Higher Education or his representative shall develop and encourage implementation of a metric education plan within initial emphasis on the immediate requirements of the commercial and industrial community and a long-range plan of public education. Effect of Amendment The 1994 amendment deleted designators (1), (2), and (3), and inserted "State" preceding "Commission".
