No person may: (1) use or have in possession for use in commerce an incorrect weight or measure; (2) sell or offer for sale for use in commerce an incorrect weight or measure; (3) remove a tag, seal, or mark from a weight or measure without specific written authorization from the proper authority; (4) hinder or obstruct a weights and measures official in the performance of his duties; (5) violate this chapter or regulations promulgated pursuant to it. Effect of Amendment The 1994 amendment deleted the opening paragraph containing penalty provisions, redesignated (a), (b) and (c) as (1), (3), and (4), added (2) and (5), and made grammatical changes.
