South Carolina Code § 25-1-2865

Remission or suspension of sentence.

The Governor or a convening authority may remit or suspend any part of amount of the unexecuted part of any sentence, including all uncollected fines.
The Adjutant General may, for good cause, substitute an administrative form of discharge for a discharge or dismissal executed in accordance with the sentence of a court-martial.
Effect of Amendment
2024 Act No. 145, SECTION 15, in the first undesignated paragraph, substituted "fines" for "forfeitures", and in the second undesignated paragraph, substituted "Adjutant General" for "adjutant general".
