(A) It is unlawful for a person to: (1) wilfully induce, procure, or persuade another person by any means to commit perjury in initiating a civil action or proceeding; or (2) wilfully induce, procure, or persuade another person to give false, misleading, or incomplete testimony while under oath in a civil action or proceeding. (B) A person who violates the provision of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, must be imprisoned not more than six months and fined not less than two hundred dollars.
