In every case in which an application is made to the department for a license, the department may grant or refuse the license as it considers best for the interest of the State and the proper management of the interests of the State in those deposits. Effect of Amendment 2014 Act No. 121, SECTION 7.M, substituted "department" for "board" throughout, and made other nonsubstantive changes.
