The Department of Administration, upon approval of the State Fiscal Accountability Authority, may grant to agencies or political subdivisions of the State, without compensation, rights of way through and over such marshlands as are owned by the State for the construction and maintenance of roads, streets and highways or power or pipe lines, if, in the judgment of the department, the interests of the State will not be adversely affected thereby. Effect of Amendment 2014 Act No. 121, SECTION 7.C, substituted "Department of Administration, upon approval of the State Fiscal Accountability Authority," for "State Budget and Control Board" and substituted "judgment of the department" for "judgment of the Budget and Control Board".
