The State Employee Insurance Program shall continue to provide mental health parity in the same manner and with the same management practices as included in the plan beginning in 2002, and is not under the jurisdiction of the Department of Insurance. The continuation by the State Employee Insurance Program of providing mental health parity in accordance with the plan set forth in 2002 constitutes compliance with this act. Code Commissioner's Note This section was codified at the direction of the Code Commissioner. Editor's Note 2012 Act No. 278, Pt IV, Subpt 3, SECTION 65(C), provides as follows: "(C) The Code Commissioner is directed to change or correct all references to the Employee Insurance Program, the Retirement Division, and the Deferred Compensation Commission to reflect its transfer to the South Carolina Public Employee Benefit Authority. References to the name of the Employee Insurance Program, the Retirement Division, and the Deferred Compensation Commission in the 1976 Code or other provisions of law are considered to be and must be construed to mean appropriate references."
