Definitions

As used in this chapter, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings: (1) “Attorney” means a resident of the state of Rhode Island who is licensed to practice law in the state of Rhode Island and who is a current member in good standing of the Rhode Island bar association; and (2) “Member of the general public” means a person who is a resident of the state of Rhode Island and who is not a licensed member of any bar association.
