(a) The certificate of conversion to corporation (nonprofit) shall be delivered to the secretary of state. If the secretary of state finds that the certificate of conversion to corporation (nonprofit) conforms to law, the secretary of state shall, when all fees have been paid as prescribed in subsection (b) of this section: (1) Endorse on the original the word “Filed,” and the month, day, and year of the filing; (2) File the original in the secretary of state’s office; and (3) Issue a certificate of conversion to corporation (nonprofit). (b) The secretary of state shall charge and collect for filing a certificate of conversion (nonprofit), twenty-five dollars ($25.00). (c) The certificate of conversion to corporation (nonprofit) shall be delivered to the corporation.
