(a) Any person who provides, presents, calls, or represents himself or herself as a home inspector for compensation shall be licensed in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. (b) No person, not licensed as a home inspector or associate home inspector, shall advertise or hold himself or herself out as a home inspector, or impersonate a home inspector or associate home inspector. (c) No corporation, firm, association, or partnership shall engage in business as a home inspector or represent itself as an inspection company unless a licensed home inspector as provided in this chapter is continuously engaged in the supervision of its inspections.
