(a) An application for an installer’s license filled out in its entirety, along with a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00), must be submitted to the director. (b) The applicant installer must have demonstrated to the director that he or she is capable of installing individual sewage disposal systems in accordance with approved plans and specifications. (c) The applicant installer must obtain a passing grade on a written examination given by the director, intended to demonstrate his or her understanding of the rules and regulations, and his or her ability to read and interpret approved plans and specifications for individual sewage disposal systems. (d) The applicant installer must demonstrate possession of and ability to properly use a level or transit.
