Qualifications of professional nurse applicants

An applicant for licensure to practice as a professional nurse shall submit to the board written evidence on forms furnished by the division of professional regulation that the applicant: (1) Has completed at least an approved high school course of study or the equivalent supported by diploma or certificate of the course of study as determined by the rules and regulations of the state board of education; (2) Has successfully completed the prescribed curriculum in an approved basic professional nursing education program and holds a diploma from the program; and (3) Is of good moral character.
