(a) The local planning board, once authorized by the ordinance required under § 45-23-51, shall adopt or repeal, and provide for the administration, interpretation, and enforcement of land development and subdivision review regulations. (b) Provisions of the local regulations and appendices shall be presented in text and may incorporate maps, and other technical and graphic material. The local regulations, and all of their amendments, shall be consistent with all provisions of this chapter as well as the municipality’s comprehensive plan and zoning ordinance.
