Salary limits preserved — Honorable discharges

Nothing in §§ 42-28-12 and 42-28-13 shall be construed to make it lawful for the superintendent or anyone acting for the superintendent to incur in behalf of the state any obligation for salaries in excess of the amount appropriated therefor, and the superintendent shall have the power to honorably discharge any member of the division of state police, notwithstanding the provisions of § 42-28-10, and any member so discharged shall be eligible for reappointment.
