Chairperson and vice-chairperson — Meetings — Quorum

The governor shall, at the time of the initial appointments to the select commission, designate one member to act as chairperson and another to act as vice-chairperson of the select commission for one year. Thereafter, the select commission shall elect a chairperson and a vice-chairperson. The vice-chairperson shall act as chairperson in the absence of the chairperson or in the event of a vacancy in that position. The select commission shall meet at least four (4) times in each year and shall hold meetings when called by the chairperson or, in the chairperson’s absence, by the vice-chairperson. Eight (8) members of the select commission shall constitute a quorum.
