Penalty for violations

(a) Any person, firm or corporation willfully and knowingly violating subsections 4-9-2(b) or 4-9-3(b) shall be subject to a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100). (b) Any person, firm or corporation willfully and knowingly violating § 4-9-8 is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250), or by imprisonment not exceeding six (6) months, or both for the first offense; and not less than two hundred fifty dollars ($250), nor more than five hundred dollars ($500) or by imprisonment not exceeding six (6) months, or both, for each subsequent offense.
