(a) If the purchaser and seller are unable to reach an agreement within ten (10) business days following an examination of the animal by the seller’s chosen veterinarian, the purchaser may initiate an action in a court of competent jurisdiction to resolve the dispute. (b) The purchaser in any legal action pursuant to this section shall have the right to collect reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs if the opposing party acted in bad faith in denying the requested remedy.
