Notice of petition for guardianship

(a) Upon the filing of a petition for the appointment of a guardian under this chapter, notice shall be given to the ward, to any other persons, and in any manner as is provided by the general law of this state, and also to the veterans administration as provided by this chapter. (b) Where no person is designated to give a notice required by this section, the clerk of the proper court shall give the requisite notice.
