The commission shall: (1) Review and evaluate policies and programs of the state relating to radiation and advise the agency of its opinions and findings; (2) Make recommendations to the governor, the director of health and the agency administrator and furnish any technical advice that may be required on matters relating to development, utilization, and regulation of sources of radiation; and (3) Make a biennial report to the governor and the general assembly.
