There shall be an inter-agency food and nutrition policy advisory council which shall consist of nine (9) members: the director of health, or the director’s designee; the director of environmental management, or the director’s designee; the director of administration, or the director’s designee; the director of the department of human services, or the director’s designee; the director of the office of healthy aging, or the director’s designee; the director of the department of corrections, or the director’s designee; the secretary of commerce, or the secretary’s designee; the director of the department of children, youth and families, or the director’s designee; and the commissioner of elementary and secondary education, or the commissioner’s designee. The members of the commission shall elect a chairperson from among themselves.
